Oh, my Lord, it's been AGES since I updated these pictures. Okay, time for some new pictures! There's a big Victorian festival in town at Christmas-time. You
wouldn't believe how many people dress up for it--I'm going to show you.
People wore some very elaborate costumes. The woman in the
green, second from the left, won the costume contest.
But of course, not everyone dressed up, and that was fine too. It
was kind of funny watching them, though.
This picture is one the daughter took of us after our first "big" New Year's Eve
party. Take note--we did not actually wear all this finery at the party...mostly.
We put it on to shock the offspring when we got home. And then got up at 5 a.m. to
take the daughter & family to the airport to fly back to Pennsylvania. Ugh.
And I have to show you the gorgeous "chainmaille" necklace the daughter
made for me for Christmas. Isn't it gorgeous? (The necklace, not my neck.)
